Prices depend on the nature of the project, of course. To convert a spreadsheet into a multi user application, for example, may only cost a few hundred dollars. The base price for a full My Simple Office system that includes payables, receivables, inventory, etc. is $5,900. This price includes a customized customer screen, invoice, quote and order screen, a customized inventory screen, and purchase order and vendor screen. It also includes 3 months of server hosting, so that you can decide if you want us to host your data or keep everything in your own office.
We normally host your server for the first few weeks because it makes it easier for us to set things up. Then, if you want the server installed in your office, we move the data from our server to your server. But we will happily work directly on your own server if you like.
Our experience has shown that the more realistic budget for setting up a system is generally in the $10,000 to $15,000 range. This accommodates a fair bit of customization so that you will be getting a system with the kind of user interface and logic that produces the efficiency and cost savings you expect from a multi user computer system.

- Determine what kind of input/view/edit screens your need.
- Choose or design the layout for your quotes, invoices or other
formats. - Work out any special logic required for pricing, purchasing, etc.
- Produce mockups (when possible).
- Work out a monthly payment plan, usually between 6 to 18 months. Most of the work is often completed before the 2nd monthly payment. This minimizes your risk factor and gives you the upper hand. Our goal is long term customer satisfaction.
